Antique Shaggy Turkish wool rug circa 1940 This Turkish rug is in perfect condition for its age, made in central Turkey those rugs are typically made to take up to the mountains by the shepherds for warmth and the elaborate colours and design is to keep the evil spirits away. Very soft long strands of wool dyed with vibrant indigo blues and knotted into this rug to create the look. Please look at the photos. Fully cleaned and dusted.
