Pure minimalism! Originally a church bench, designer unknown, reminiscent of the benches of Dom Hans van der Laan. Country of origin: The Netherlands. The furniture, designed by the renowned architect and Benedictine Monk Dom van der Laan, features the perfect proportions of length, width and height and the symmetry between the sizes of the whole but also of the parts in relation to each other. All furniture is based on a basic form. This sturdy bench from the 60s is absolutely multifunctional. Tough to put down at your dining table but also perfect to use as a waiting room bench in a practice, office, hotel or restaurant. With this specimen you immediately create character in your interior. This sofa adapts itself completely to its environment where it is placed. Given its dimensions, easy to place in any space. Beautiful minimalist design. The wooden bench in combination with the metal frame gives a tough look. Given its age in a nice vintage condition.
