Vintage Design

An original vintage example of ‘The Glyder’ – a solid teak-framed serving trolley (or drinks trolley / bar cart, if you’d rather) with a removable teak-faced bent plywood tray with a rich and distinct grain. It was made by Paragon / E.D. & S., London in the early 1960s.

with a sculptural shape and a good compact size, it works brilliantly as a piece of useful occasional furniture – a side table, for example – in even the most modestly-sized rooms.
