Small Louis XIV Style Writing Table in Solid Walnut, Late 19th Century

Vintage Design

Charming little writing table in the Louis XIV style, in solid Walnut. Its top, with beautiful Walnut veining, is surrounded by a molding composed of circular motifs, and a beak of corbel. The circumference of the belt is also carved with scallops.
It rests on four turned legs, ending in small pebble feet. The base is connected by a partially turned St. Andrew's cross element, in its center is a piece of spinning. This small writing table has an interesting dimensional, it will elegantly dress your entrance as a side table for example.
