Small 19th Century Naval Chest in Teak

About This Piece

Vintage Design

This small trunk or naval chest is composed above, on the sides and on the facade, with a single board each assembled with Aronde tails and screws.
This cover, mounted on three hinges, is held open by a brass compass called "knee".
The interior offers a large storage space as well as a niche shower with lids, on the left side.
This chest has a original double hook lock with its key and a bronze moraillon used to accommodate a padlock.
The sides have bronze handles to facilitate transport.
After sailing over the years on the seas and oceans, this naval trunk or chest will be accosted in the room of your choice, offering an interesting storage capacity and an undeniable style.
