A silver dressing table mirror by Pedro Durán Morales, Madrid An oval silver mirror, raised on a round base with swan carries the oval ring for the rotating mirror. The mirror surrounded in leave pattern and on top two small romantic swan towards each other crowned Pedro Durán Morales silversmith, founded in 1886, Madrid Spain. In 1899 he was appointed official supplier to the Spanish royal family. The mirror has the Spanish silver hallmark of the silversmith Pedro Durán Morales, Assay office mark "M1" for Madrid, 925/000 purity of silver. The vase in a Hexagon is the silversmith hallmark for Pedro Duran Morales and bears the signature of the founder. The silver is also hallmarked with the Dutch hallmarks "ZI "( 925/000) and the silversmith mark of the Jeweler Simons B.V. (used from 1973-) The measurement in total is 41,5 cm high, and 22,5 cm wide. The round base is 13 cm diagonal. The mirror measures 23,5 cm x 18 cm. The total weight is 1130 grams
