Rare curule chair in solid walnut in the Renaissance style, inspired by Roman and medieval seats, characterized by its carved wood and its shimmering velvet trim.
This seat is distinguished by an X-shaped base, whose molded and relief-sculpted facade is decorated with a beautiful rosette in the center. Spacers secure the legs together for great stability. The curved seat is made up of a cushion attached to the chair. Its velvet trim is original. The openwork backrest is made up of a wide transverse band carved with flowers and with a knockout. He is dressed in floral velvet and topped with two wooden corollas.

Original fabric in used condition. Pompoms missing on one side.
