A bright and breezy image of one of the artist’s characteristically ballooning, marshmallowy abstracted figures, sweetly offering a red rose. In fantastic condition and with a really direct, striking impact on the wall.

“The work of Rein Dool is particularly varied. Although the artist is a master of drawing from life, he also often sees this as a constraint on his creative freedom. Dool succeeds in translating powerful emotions through the medium of very simplified drawn faces. He is especially interested in how just a few strokes can be used to compose a head. As he only draws a zig-zag line and adds an eye, the ‘Dool’ head is born.”
