Seated ballerina adjusting women`s ballet shoes (pointe shoes). The ballerina is depicted in a large fluffy white dress. Glazed porcelain, white with hand-painted in some details of the dress and a blue bow in the hair. The shoes are gilded. Production of the manufactory Unterweissbach (Unterweissbach) in Thuringia (Germany). Founded in 1880. Nationalized in 1953. The company`s products are popular in many countries around the world. Porcelain figurines depicting ballerinas gained particular popularity. Porcelain, hand-painted, gilded. Enterprise Unterweisbach, Germany. 1950-1960s The stamp is blue, printed, underglaze.
