Very elegant early Biedermeier / Empire armoire from South Germany around 1815/1820.

Top restored condition.

Wonderful book-matched walnut veneer, french polished with shellac, 2 doors with 1 drawer

Ebonized half-columns with gold-plated corinthian capitals and bases.

Original lock and very fine old key. Ivory inlays around the key holes.

Inside shelves with 3 plates covered in black cotton fabric.
