Mid Century Vintage Teak Extending Dining Table designed by Ib Kofod Larsen for G Plan Danish Range in exceptional original condition. With 2 Extending leaves that can be used independently or together to accommodate seating requirements to seat 12. The extending leafs are neatly stored underneath the table when not in use. The table extends by pulling out the frame for the extending leaf at the end of each end of the table. This is a swift and easy movement and leaves pull out easily. Exceptional craftsmanship and design the table is beautifully finished and constructed from the highest quality teak. Long Solid teak tapering legs that are sturdy and solid with no wobbles, breaks or repairs. The legs and frame of the table are finished in afromosia teak which also surrounds the edges of the table top. Kofod Larsen GPlan Signed Gold Maker's mark to the underside of one of the extending leafs. The table is a neat size but extends to seat 12 comfortably. The table is in its original condition and has undoubtedly been a treasured and well cared for piece by its original owner since purchase in the 1960's. There are no unsightly or apparent marks or damage to note and the table has been thoroughly cleaned ready for use and lightly polished with teak oil. Lovely even tone and grain throughout.
