Mario Locatelli’s painting depicts a rural scene, of an authentic social nature, a noisy and worldly party in the woods. Locatelli is inspired by the paintings of Giuseppe Palizzi, an Italian painter, who arrived in Naples and joined the Posillipo School in 1835.
