About This Piece

Regulating sculpture entitled "Salut au Soleil" signed Marcel Grouillet (1879-1961). A pupil of Falguière and Moreau, Marcel Grouillet was a medalist at the Salon des Artistes in 1907.

This work represents a young man, arms raised towards the sky, whose gaze follows the race of the sun. It relies on a shovel, symbol of work and wears a fur around its size.
