Louis XVI Style Mahogany Chiffonnière Commode

Vintage Design

Small Louis XVI style mahogany chest of drawers topped with green Estours marble with a groove and opening with six drawers. The latter have a knockout facade inlaid with molded brass rods. They form a frame surrounding the falling Louis XVI style pull handles fitted to each of these drawers. They also have a working lock with threaded entry. On each side the uprights are inlaid with three large grooves trimmed with brass. This piece of furniture has a low crossbar with upper brass molding and rests on two front top legs with a brass collar at the top.
