LE TEMOIN (The Witness), Man Ray’s seat sculpture for Studio Simon Gavina, 1971. “An eye persistently observing you in your house, if you knock it over, it instantly turns into a small couch or table. Designed by Man Ray for the Ultramobile exhibition conceived by Studio Simon (Dino Gavina), Italy in 1971. His goal was to adapt the surreal object in a surprising way to daily use, making a poetic presence enters our homes. Material: Wood covered with white artificial leather and silk-screen printing methacrylate decoration. dimensions: h x w x d = 70 x 151 x 43 cm. A unique piece for the collector.
