About This Piece

Vintage Design

A very large ceramic vase from the 1960s, glazed with two types of mass, which makes it not only two-colored, but also has two different surface finishes - the lower part is smooth and shiny, the upper part is satin and semi-matt.

In addition, this type of glazing is of an experimental nature, perhaps inspired by the actions of Jackson Pollock - it is uneven, one glaze goes into the other creating an uneven wavy line, almost organic.

Vase signed with the Dümler & Breiden brand.
