About This Piece

Important Bust signed Terracotta Sculptor Angevin Leon Morice (1868 - 1930), bearing the mark of its manufacturer ''R. Arly'' in Paris, representing a fisherman holding the bar.
The topic is dressed in a jacket and a rain hat, and seems ready to face the elements.
The expression on his face, weathered, reflects a lifetime of hard work on the Atlantic waves.
His eyes, his brow furrowed and the folds of his mouth let us imagine a fierce determination and a strong character.
