About This Piece

The mountain landscape, painted with incredible finesse, seems almost fabulous.

It has been divided into three main zones, each of them paying homage to the painted nature in its own, unusual and different way. The lower part of the painting is occupied by a rapid, foamy river whose bed and banks are filled with mossy boulders and broken fragments of trees. On the left bank, slightly above the river, there are conifers, the darkest and most mysterious part of the painting. The whole thing is crowned with a wonderful view of the snow-capped, steep mountain peaks in the distance with a pastel-painted sky.

On the right bank of the river, almost imperceptible at first glance, there is a figure of a man accompanied by a dog - a figure of a man wandering through an extraordinary landscape, surprising with new natural wonders visible all around. What is striking is the size and monumentalism of the nature surrounding man, clearly favoring the scale of nature in relation to man.

The painting provokes reflection on the changes that surround us, the nature around us, and its irresistible charm and grace make it possible to look for new details in it for hours.
