Contemporary quilt by Welsh artist Bethan Ash. Bethan is a well published artist and her quilts have been exhibited Internationally and are in Several Museums in the USA including Museum Of Art And Design in New York. Statement: Every so often I have a break from working with strong, vibrant colours. The fabrics used in this quilt come from 1930’s satin Viscose bedspreads, to create soft muted colours I have over dyed, resist and discharged with Procion MX dye and household bleach. This piece is my ‘Interlude’ from using vibrant colours and represents a pause in time. Size: h: 123cm x w: 138cm 48.5" x 54.5" Techniques: Improvisational appliqué wall quilt. Machine stitched, pieced and quilted. Materials: Upper made from discharge and resist dyed Viscose, satin and silk fabrics. 100% cotton filling and backing. Display requirements: 1 wall space required - basic hanging from a batten.

Delivery Details

Delivery will be completed by a parcel service such as UPS, DHL, or FedEx.
You will receive a tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment.
Delivery will take place between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
