Vintage Design

This striking set of four dining or side chairs was produced in France in the late 1950s. These sculptural chairs were handcrafted and are made of stained solid oak wood. The distinct design is marked by the fan shaped back, consisting of four slats with a brutalist style black painted steel bar on the back side. The seat is in an organic, trapeze shape. The three legs are placed at a slight angle which gives the design a dynamic and modern feel.

The chairs are in a very good original condition with their natural, beautifully developed patina, with minor retouches done by our in-house restorer.
