Early 20th Century Gilt Brass Ornamental Cherub Standard Lamp, 1890s

This is a superb antique ornamental gilt brass standard lamp, Circa 1900 in date. The slender reeded stem is raised on the shoulder of a bacchanalian cherub wreathed in fruiting vine, and sat upon a square pedestal with porcelain plaques depicting courting couples inset to the sides. The pedestal is mounted on a round grey marble base base raised on three cast lion paw feet. Complete with shade. The craftsmanship is second to none throughout all aspects of this piece and it is sure to add an unparalleled touch of class to your home.
