Dutch oval silver hanging photo frame by van Eldik & van der Scheer 1917-1950 Dutch silver photo frame with a border motif of a flower branch and a small pearl border. This silver photo frame is a hanging model, can be hung vertically as well as horizontally. The back with wood, which is mounted on the frame with nails. The photo frame was made between 1917 and 1950 by B.W. van Eldik & A.F. van der Scheer, Hollandia Silversmiths. Marked with the maker's mark and "the sword", this hallmark was used between 1906-1953. The frame has new copper brackets mounted on the back. The measurements are: 21,3 cm high, 15,5 cm wide and the depth is 1,5 cm The weight is 286 gram.
