Dutch 18th Century Fob seal with coat of arms A Dutch 18th Century silver (unmarked) fob seal with coat of arms, probably the Family Van Haenen. In the original leather case. A lacquer seal/signet to seal a letter or deed. Signets are wax stamps, also called cachet or hand seal. The measurement of the signet is 3.2 cm high, 2.3 cm wide and the depth is 2 cm. The original case fits around it. with a hook closure. The total weight is 34 grams.
