Dining Table in Teak and Oak by Ib Kofod-Larsen for Slagelse Møbelværk, 1960s

A very elegant and extremely well-made dining table designed by the iconic furniture master Ib Kofod-Larsen for Slagelse Møbelverk in Denmark.

The table has model designation/model number 403 and has a thin and sleek teak tabletop. The frame and legs are in oak, which gives the much-sought-after casual Danish feeling and at the same time makes it easy to combine with chairs in both types of wood.
The table top is elegantly made with a framing frieze and table edges that disappear into nothing.

The legs are in oak and are softly oval and stand at an angle to the edge. The legs are easy to dismantle for transport.

Practical model where the inserts are pushed under the table and are easily and quickly pulled out when they need to be used. The discs can be used one at a time or both together, depending on the need. The solution on the insert boards gives the table a sleek and elegant expression without any unnecessary details!
The insert boards have a framing frieze and softly shaped edges like the table top.

The table holds eight to ten seats.

150x89x73+2×45 cm with a maximum length of 240 cm. Flexible size that holds everything from the small breakfast to the big dinner!

In very good condition with very few traces of use.
