Great Bouddah Maravijaya, the Enlightened One is shown in vajrasana on his double lotiform base, in bhumisparsha mudra. Burma, Shan states, Konbaung period circa 1800. Carved wood, black and gold lacquer. Very good condition. Provenance: Estate of art dealer Claude de Marteau. Sold with certificate of provenance. H 65 CM X P 21 CM X W 33 CM.
