Vintage Design

Ceramics table lamp made at "L. Hjort", Denmark in the 1930s. The base is made from stoneware and hand decorated with fruit branches and parrots motif in Art Nouveau style. Original socket mount in patinated brass. Marked by maker underneath. In the 1850s at the island of Bornholm in Denmark the small terracotta factory "L. Hjort" specialized in producing terracotta earthenware items.
