Beautiful traditional Cha Tansu, or Japanese tea chest.

Dimensions: height 105 cm, width 71.5 cm, depth 29 cm.

This Cha Tansu features five convenient drawers, three storage spaces with sliding doors, and one compartment with a removable panel.

This elegant piece brings an authentic Japanese atmosphere to your interior. An impressive example of Japanese craftsmanship, made from beautifully grained wood with meticulous finishing.

In addition to its functional value as a storage unit, it exudes elegance and fits perfectly in any stylish interior.

The chest is in excellent condition and has developed a unique patina over the years.

The Cha Tansu, also known as Chabitsu or Chagama Tansu, is specifically designed for storing and displaying tea utensils used in the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. "Cha" means tea, and "Tansu" stands for chest or storage unit.
