Antique Georgian 18th Century Crossbanded Oyster Veneered Walnut and Fruitwood Chest of Drawers

This exquisite Georgian chest of drawers, crafted in the 18th century, features beautiful crossbanded oyster veneers of walnut and fruitwood. It is full of age, charm, and character, showcasing period locks, handles, and escutcheons.

Condition:

No loose joints; the ash-lined drawers slide freely.
In good shape with fantastic proportions, the chest exhibits charming historic waviness and distortion, adding to its character.
Overall maximum dimensions: 97cmW x 53cmD x 97cmH.

In good antique condition, it displays historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs, and alterations, as expected with functional antique furniture.
There are no keys, and the locks are consequently untested.
Historic extinct woodworm holes (typical for 18th-century walnut/fruitwood) have been treated for assurance.
