Vintage Design

Majestic French salon table in Louis 15th style. Polished veneer on solid pinewood. Exceptionally finest engraved, decorative broken rocailles, inlaid with acanthus, and flowered details. On two forward looking imposing bearded devils masks on curved legs ending in sabots. Multi-sided, bowed one-drawered border. Overhanging multi-curved table platter, with profiled engraved Bronze framing and gold tooled leather inlay. These proportions are exact and required a high standard of the Master Carpenters abilities. (A-Sam-40). Wear consistent with age and use.
