19th Century Restoration Period Mahogany Gondola Chairs, Set of 4

About This Piece

Vintage Design

Suite of massive mahogany chairs and mahogany veneer with a perforated backrest consisting of a central element of a small lamb de mahogulus veneer joining a high curved crossbar of the same essence. Each side of the massive mahogany folder joins the curved belt ending with a volute pattern. On the top, we find a double-throat wood element marrying the curves of the folder.
A firm sitting with ball in perfect condition with strap and horsehair, having been redone is covered with a red fabric with frames.
These four chairs rest on two feet called on the front and two shadowfeet at the back.
The refinement of this sequence of bicentennial chairs will undeniably enhance your interior.
