This bronze turtle is from the 19th century, it is reminiscent of a work by Barye. It bears no signature, however there is no doubt about its age and authenticity. There is a nice carving, especially in the scales, on the legs. A beautiful bronze chocolate patina. The work is of good quality. For the state, note classic rubbing and scratches on a 19th century bronze. We also point out that the end of the tail is damaged. Dimensions: Height: 4 cm Width: 10.5 cm Thickness: 8 cm.
